Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are already willing to make him the most expensive player in football, but the Gunners are set to step in. Wenger has already told Mbappe's father that a move to Madrid would not be in the 18-year-old's interests, whereas he would be guaranteed to play at Arsenal.

Barcelona are reportedly preparing to make a final offer in the coming days and that could lead to Neto being behind only Alexandre Pato in the list of most expensive 17-year-old footballers.

AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang is hoping Arsenal will make him an offer after stalling on a move to Everton, according to Calciomercato.com .
Everton have agreed a €15 million (£13.2m) fee with Milan to sign Niang, but the player has yet to accept a switch to Goodison Park as he holds out for a transfer to a bigger club.
