Ghana and Ethiopia will go head to head in Group F of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Baba Yara stadium in the city of Kumasi on Sunday afternoon.
It’s a new dawn for the Black Stars with Kwesi Appiah taking over from Avram Grant after Ghana finished fourth at Afcon 2017 in Gabon. With the quest to win the showpiece for the first time since 1982, a comfortable win for Ghana is quoted at odds of (1.12) with Bet365.
The Walias qualified for the Afcon back in 2013 but they are considered one of the minnows of the continent. Though Ethiopia did win Afcon way back in 1962, they are not the same solid team today and are underdogs at (13.00) with the same firm.
A stalemate in Kumasi is offered at a price of (7.50).
The Ethiopians are unbeaten in their last three games including a 3-3 against Algeria and are tipped to leave Kumasi without losing at (5.50).
The first two meetings between Ghana and Ethiopia ended 2-0 in favour of the Black Stars. Odds of (5.50) are on the table for a repeat scoreline.
11 of Ghana’s last 12 matches have finished with fewer than two goals. They haven’t been lethal in front of goal for a while and such outcome is tipped to happen at (2.40) with Bet365.
